As safety professionals move along in their career path they are in need of training designed for a high-level safety manager. Therefore, the COSS administration is developing the Certificate for Occupational Safety Managers™ (COSM) program.

Pre-requisites

  • In order to receive the final COSM certificate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Attendance in the full 40 hour course

  • Turn in all completed assignments

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of safety, health and environmental work experience

NEW! Virtual COSM Classes

Virtual COSM® courses are offered in real-time during live classes with our expert COSM Instructors. The course features the same innovative and rigorous curriculum as our in-person COSM training with digital coursework. Students will participate in five live 8-hour online session via Zoom video conferencing. Live sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. Central Time. After each session, students can work on their own time to complete daily exercises.

Participation in the course will require the following:

  • Computer with reliable Internet access (Laptops and desktop computers only.)

  • Preference: Dual monitor setup or use of multiple devices (computer and mobile device)

  • Google Chrome Browser

  • Webcam and Microphone

Registration & Cancellation Policy:

Advance registration for this Certified Occupational Safety Specialist training class is required. Cancellation and Substitution Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. If you must cancel a course, please do so at least three weeks prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three weeks prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance. The NSC-NEC reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule classes due to insufficient enrollments.  In the event of inclement weather, the NSC-NEC will follow the same closing & delay schedule as announced by the Concord, NH School District.   www.wmur.com/weather/closings.
